Miss Boorman was appointed Consultant General Surgeon with a specialist interest in Coloproctology to the Royal Devon & Exeter NHS Trust in 2006.  Her practice includes diagnosis and surgery for colorectal cancer and inflammatory bowel disease as well as having a specialist interest in proctology and pelvic floor dysfunction

Her general surgery includes repair of inguinal, femoral and abdominal wall hernias.
